There is a Common Problem in Sony Cyber-Shot,
the screen goes white and it seems like the camera is dead.
But Don't worry ...There is an Option to Try.
Just Press and Hold Right most bottom corner of the camera screen.
and Press the "ON" Button at the Same Time
